Coffee plant collection
Today’s coffee experience extends beyond the cup, with customers increasingly looking for a sense of craft, discovery, and boutique appeal in the spaces and products surrounding their coffee. For Stone Creek’s subscription program, I developed an elegant coffee plant visual language centered around a peach-toned coffee cherry and striking white leaves.
The illustration became a flexible system across the full subscriber experience, appearing on subscription mailers and a tiered rewards program: a limited-edition coffee plant at three months, a ceramic mug at six months, followed by a can glass and MiiR traveler at longer subscription tiers. Each application required adapting the artwork to different production methods, dimensions, and print capabilities while maintaining a consistent visual identity.

I also extended the concept into a more expressive retail collection, introducing a coffee cherry skull as an edgier counterpart to the refined botanical artwork. Together, the two directions demonstrate how a strong illustration system can flex across customer touchpoints, from the moment a subscription arrives at the door to the merchandise customers discover in-store.
Half Human Half Coffee
Building on the same botanical and coffee-driven visual language, I developed a sub-collection around the idea of being “Half Human, Half Coffee.” The concept imagines the kind of coffee lover who is so deeply fueled by the ritual that coffee feels less like a beverage and more like part of their anatomy.
I translated that idea into a dramatic illustration of a coffee plant intertwining with a human skull, pushing the refined botanical aesthetic into something darker, bolder, and more unexpected. The artwork was carried across a statement hoodie, ceramic mug, and pin set, creating a small collection designed for customers whose personal style is just as expressive as their coffee obsession.
