Coffee Playing card deck

Stone Creek Coffee was looking for a fresh, unexpected merchandise item to bring to their shelves. For a brand centered around authentic human connection and shared experiences, I saw an opportunity to create something customers could actively engage with, use, and enjoy alongside their coffee.

I decided on a coffee-inspired playing card deck that turns an everyday game into an extension of the Stone Creek experience. Each suit represents a different brewing method: Diamonds for V60, Spades for Espresso, Hearts for Chemex, and Clubs for AeroPress.

The deck also doubles as a learning tool. Both jokers feature Stone Creek brewing recipes, giving customers an easy way to take the experience home and try something new with their own coffee. This is a piece of merchandise designed not just to sit on a shelf, but to encourage play, conversation, and a deeper connection with coffee.
